Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extrac
  • 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  • In a separate large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until lightand fluffy using an electric mixer.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture into the mixing bowl, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of spacebetween each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to coolcompletely.
