cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed

tahini

cup
freshly squeezed lemon juice

garlic cloves, minced

tsp
ground cumin

extra-virgin olive oil
1/4

water
Salt, to taste
Paprika, for garnish
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin. Pulse until wellcombined.
While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil and water. Continue to blend until the hummusis smooth and creamy.
Add salt to taste.
Serve the hummus in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with paprika and fresh parsley.
Serve with pita bread or vegetables.
