- 2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, untilthe sugar dissolves.
Add the strawberry puree and lemon juice to the saucepan and stir to combine.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until itreaches a sorbet consistency.
Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
