Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup tapioca flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat a waffle iron to medium-high heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut flour, tapioca flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, melted coconut oil, and honey.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well to combine.
- Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Grease the waffle iron with a little bit of coconut oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the waffle iron and cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the waffles warm with your favorite toppings, such as fresh berries, almond butter, or maple syrup.
