Deviled eggs are a classic and delicious snack that is perfect for any occasion. Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 to 2 dashes Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Paprika,for garnish
  • Whole fresh chives, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Begin by rinsing the eggs with warm water, then place them in a small saucepan. Cover the eggs with cold water and place the pan over medium-high heat. Allow the water to come to a boil, then turn off the heat and cover the pan. Let the eggs sit in the covered pan for 10-12 minutes.
  • Drain the hot water from the pan and rinse theeggs under cold water or transfer them to a bowl of ice water. Peel the eggscarefully, then cool them in the refrigerator while loosely covered for about15 minutes.
  • Once cooled, halve the eggs lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork and add in mustard, Tabasco, salt, pepper, and snipped chives. Stir in mayonnaise until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Using a spoon or piping bag fitted with a star tip, fill each egg white half with approximately 1½ teaspoons of the egg-yolk mixture. Dust the tops with paprika and arrange the filled eggs on a platter. Garnish with whole chives and serve.
