Ingredients
- 2 pounds sweet potatoes peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the sweet potatoes into sticks that are ¼ to½ inch wide and 3 inches long. Put the sweet potato sticks into a mixing bowl,and then toss them with oil until they are evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix the spices, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the sweet potatoes in the mixing bowl, and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Spread the sweet potato sticks out on two rimmed baking sheets. Bake them in the oven until they are brown and crisp on the bottom, which should take around 15 minutes. Flip the sweet potato sticks over,and continue cooking until the other side is crisp as well. This should take around 10 minutes. Once they're done, remove the sweet potato fries from the oven and serve them hot.
