Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extrac
- 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until lightand fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture into the mixing bowl, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of spacebetween each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to coolcompletely.
