Ingredients
- 2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, untilthe sugar dissolves.
- Add the strawberry puree and lemon juice to the saucepan and stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until itreaches a sorbet consistency.
- Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
