Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10-15 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix together garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.
- Thread shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
- Place skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
