Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin. Pulse until wellcombined.
  • While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil and water. Continue to blend until the hummusis smooth and creamy.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Serve the hummus in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with paprika and fresh parsley.
  • Serve with pita bread or vegetables.
