Ingredients
- 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt, to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin. Pulse until wellcombined.
- While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil and water. Continue to blend until the hummusis smooth and creamy.
- Add salt to taste.
- Serve the hummus in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with paprika and fresh parsley.
- Serve with pita bread or vegetables.
