Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semisweet or dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Dippers: strawberries, bananas, pound cake, pretzels,marshmallows, etc.
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- Remove the pan from heat and add the chopped chocolate, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Stir until thechocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Transfer the chocolate mixture to a fondue pot or a serving bowl.
- Place the fondue pot or bowl over a low flame or hot water bath to keep the chocolate warm and melted.
- Serve with your choice of dippers, such as strawberries, bananas, pound cake, pretzels, and marshmallows.
